I spend 7 weeks with Pierre this past summer, on my brand new yacht “ I Neverland” ( Solaris 50) .

During this time I had on board different group of friends and family, and we sailed from Sardinia to Corsica to the French and Italian Riviera and from there on, Pierre and myself transfer the yacht to Greece, where she will be stationed.

Although Pierre is an easy going person and our relation was never very strict, he exhibited professionalism and despite being a pleasant company, he was very discreet when needed.

Pierre is a very energetic person, an experienced sailor and he can handle the yacht under any circumstances in a expert manner. He loves his job and he took thorough care of my yacht.

Our time together was very pleasant, there was never a conflict, and all my guests were very fond of him. When our collaboration came to an end I was regretful parting with him.

I hope we will have the opportunity to sail together again in the future.

To whom it may concern. Pierre was employed by me for about 8 months to sail and maintain my swan 48. Often I was onboard ,or Pierre would organize crew and move the yacht to the next destination. The route was from Marseille ( France) to Gibraltar via the Balearic Islands and Valencia ( Spain). Onwards to Marocco , the Canary Islands,Arc to St Lucia then cruising the Carribean to the British Virgin Islands . He arranged commissioning and laying up. In early October, as part of my boat’s participation in the Middle Sea Race, we entrusted our vessel to “Open Mind Yachting” for the delivery from Dénia (Alicante, Spain) to Malta, approximately 700 nautical miles.

We stayed in regular contact during the delivery, which Pierre handled very professionally, in challenging weather conditions and without stops.

Last summer, we went on a three-week trip to Corsica and Sardinia aboard a Dehler 46. My name is Eric. A year ago, I decided to buy my first boat, an Excess 14 catamaran (about 14 x 8 meters). I had no sailing experience.
Marnix, owner of NOVA YACHTING, introduced me to Pierre Delvaux at a boat show. Before delivery, I did three inland sea trips with Pierre to learn basic maneuvers.
On March 20, 2025, I took delivery of my boat in Les Sables d’Olonne. In two months, we sailed 2,500 miles through Brittany, Spain, crossing the Gascogne by night, from Roscoff to England, through the Solent, and back to the Netherlands. We visited ports, moorings, and anchorage spots, mostly in good weather, and had some fun surfing entering Arcachon and crossing under La Rochelle Bridge under code zero at 14 knots.
I learned a lot, felt confident thanks to Pierre’s guidance, and enjoyed the trip. The living arrangements were smooth, with Pierre cooking and me handling the dishes and cleaning.
I highly recommend Pierre for safe convoying and quick, confident sailing lessons. Looking forward to sailing again in the Mediterranean.
